Termination ( 8 Samples )
Sample I
During your probation period the Company or yourself may terminate your employment in writing with a 24 hours notice during the first month and by one week’s notice or payment in lieu during the remaining period.
After probation the employment may be terminated in writing by the Company or yourself by giving the notice as below or payment in lieu:
- Completed years of service less than 1 10 days
- Completed years of service over 1 & less than 3 20 days
- Completed years of service over 3 & above 30 days
Sample II
Your employment with the Company may be terminated by either yourself or the Company. If the termination takes place during the probationary period, seven (7) days notice or payment in lieu will be required; if the termination takes place in one (1) year of your service, ten (10) days notice or payment in lieu will be required; if the termination takes place in 3 years of your service, twenty (20) days notice or payment in lieu will be required; after the three (3) years service, one month’s termination notice or payment in lieu will be required by either party.
Sample III
It is expected that the employee’s employment with the employer is a continuous service. In the event that the employment is to be terminated, the other party should give one-month prior written notice.
Sample IV
In accordance with company policy, please understand that the opportunity we offer is of indefinite during and will continue as long as both you and the company consider it to be of mutual benefit. Either you or the company is free to terminate the employment relationship at will. We will voluntarily observe the Taiwan Labor Standards Law severance notice provisions. We will give you 10 days notice of termination, or pay in lieu of notice, if you are with (company name) less than 1 year, 20 days notice if termination occurs in the 2nd or 3rd year, and 30 days after 3 years or more. We expect and require the same notice from you.
Sample V
The Company may terminate your employment, without notice, if you:
- are convicted of any criminal offense.
- commit any grave misconduct, which in the Company’s option is detrimental to the interests of the Company.
- refuse to obey reasonable command of the Directors.
- provide false information when applying for the position
In such an event, you are entitled to payment of your salary to the date of termination only plus any statutory rights. Accrued holiday leave and a pre-rated bonus will not be paid.
The normal termination shall be at least one week, excluding periods of leave. The week shall be counted from the day that you give written notice to the Directors. If you leave without giving the normal period of notice, you shall pay a penalty of one- week salary or a pro-rata amount in accordance with the length of notice given. The Company may also give one- week notice (or more) to termination or elect to pay one week’s salary in lieu of notice.
Sample VI
The contract of employment between (company name) and yourself can be terminated by one month’s notice or payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by either party.
Sample VII
One month’s notice in writing or payment in lieu of notice by either party after written confirmation of regular employment.
Sample VIII
The term of your employment shall continue until terminated by either party by giving the other party a 30-day prior written notice of termination.
