Sample I
The employee may not sign a competing contract of employment. Any secondary job must be separately agreed upon with employee’s superior beforehand.
Sample II
The employee shall not enter into the service or employment of any person/persons or engaged in any other trade or business of whatever kind, scope or extent, but shall give his entire and exclusive time and attention to the Company during the life of this Contract.
Sample III
You should not enter into any other employment or engage in private business activities without the written consent of this company. Breach of this clause will subject to disciplinary action.
Sample IV
You will not be permitted to undertake business activities or other work where it is considered to be incompatible with the company’s interests. Although the Company has no desire to restrict your external activities unreasonably, it must protect its own interests and those of all its employees.
If wish to take up part-time employment with another employer or pursue outside business interests whilst still remaining in the Company’s employment, you must request written permission (giving full details) from Human Resources. The request will be investigated and, following a discussion with you, your line manager and Compliance, you will be informed of the Company’s decision in writing. In the event that permission is refused, the decision of the Company will be final.
The Company operates an approval procedure for any external appointment or outside interests. Human Resources must be informed, in the first instance, if you require any such approval.
